The product being reviewed is HIKARI TROPICAL sinking Algae wafers. I paid £3.45 for a 40g packet from Ebay.

Packaging & Delivery:
The item arrived on time and well packaged. The zip lock on the bag allows the product to stay fresh, even after opening the pack. The packaging is brightly coloured and clearly indicates that it is suitable for both freshwater & saltwater aquariums. There is a clear list of ingredients and nutritional value information, along with clear feeding instructions.
The flakes themselves average out at about 1.5cmø, they are all a consistent size and shape. They smell very herb like. There isn’t really a lot I can say about them, they look like sinking pellets.
Ease of Use:
They are dead simple to use, plop them in the tank & you’re done. They hold together really well, meaning several tangs, a Lawnmower Blenny & the odd crab can all have a peck at them without them falling to pieces.
My fish love these, especially the Lawnmower Blenny, he goes absolutely nuts for these. Because they hold together so well, it means the fish can peck at them for several hours, which is great for grazing fish like Tangs.
I feed these at a rate of one pellet, twice a week as part of a varied diet, but as a treat, they seem to love them. There doesn’t appear to be any negative effect on the nutrient levels within my tank when I feed the Hikari pellets.
I will be buying these again. The 40g pack I have, has lasted 2 months so far and it’s still well over half full, which makes them really inexpensive for what you get. I am very happy with my purchase!
